Skíðblaðnir

According to the legend, Skíðblaðnir is a name of the ship that belongs to Freyr. It was so big that it could hold a whole æsir army, but it was built so skillfully that it could be folded like a handkerchief and be put into a pocket. On any ship there should be a well-organized team of people who have become family to each other and a responsible captain. The wind carries our ship forward and grinning mug is ready to meet any difficulties. Welcome on board of the ship of æsir! The ship that is carrying the Tradition.

Russian Asatru community Skíðblaðnir – is a non-profit cultural organization with no official status. We set ourselves the following objectives:
Study of pre-Сhristian traditions and beliefs of the North

1. Study of pre-Сhristian traditions and beliefs of the North
2. Discovery and study of a pre-Christian cultural monuments and places in the territory of CIS
3. Spiritual development and self-organization
4. Strengthening and developing of the Troth

To achieve the goals we are:

• Conducting outreach activities to celebrate the major holidays of the Troth Wheel
• Holding thematic meetings
• Organizing expeditions to the so-called "places of power”, historical monuments, mounds
• Engaging in study and researchs of written sources

We are opened for communication, and we are always glad to see interested people and friendly organizations.

 

We are out of politics!

We have NOTHING to do with politics, there are people with absolutely different political views among us. Although we have NOTHING to do with satanism, fascism and we are NOT a sect.
